Seeking company: Anyone want to grab a coffee and chat about NHS registration?

I just moved to the West End area and need to register with a new GP because my old one is too far. But I don't know the exact process for transferring my records or if I need to book an initial appointment even for just registration. Would be nice to hear from someone who has done this recently, maybe over coffee at a nearby spot? I'm a bit anxious about the bureaucratic part. Just looking for someone friendly to de-stress with, no pressure!

I can help! I've just registered at the Govan practice. The transfer is usually automatic if you give them your old GP's name. Want to meet up this weekend at the campus library?

Good idea. Sometimes the phone lines are busy, so having a second pair of eyes on the website helps. Let's say Thursday?
