Recommendations for a GP who accepts walk-ins for minor things?

I've got a mild sore throat and a bit of a headache. I don't want to book a full appointment just for this, and I know A&E is overkill. Does anyone know a GP surgery in the South Side that does walk-in clinics or has a dedicated minor ailments section? Or is it better to just buy OTC meds from Boots and wait it out? I'm a bit torn on the cost vs. effectiveness of self-medicating.

The NHS 111 online triage is good for this. It might say wait it out with fluids and rest. Don't waste a GP slot if it's mild.

I went to a minor ailments clinic in Govan last month. It was quick, but you need to book a specific 'minor ailments' slot, not a general GP one.

Just buy some throat lozenges and paracetamol from Boots. If it doesn't improve in 3 days, then call your GP.
