Anyone else struggling with describing symptoms for a rash?

I've got this itchy rash on my arms, not sure if it's eczema or an allergic reaction. I need to see a GP but I'm worried they'll just dismiss it because I can't describe it exactly. It started last week after using a new laundry detergent, but I'm not 100% sure. Is there a specific way to explain 'itchy red bumps' that sounds more serious? Or should I just wait and see if it goes away?

Mention the duration and if it's spreading. 'Itchy, red bumps on arms, started one week ago, possibly linked to new detergent.' That's clear enough.

If it's very itchy at night, say that. It sounds more annoying to a GP and they might prescribe something quicker.

Don't overthink it. Just show them the rash. If it's widespread, they'll take notice. Otherwise, antihistamines might help.
